You are required to use all the text from this page >>. You may organize the text any way you like, but you must not leave any of it out. Create a directory in your "sites" folder called "nm" and upload your project to that directory. Your start page should be labeled "index.html" Your project should appear at http://nm.unca.edu/~youruserid/nm/ Requirements: 1. you may call in Flash elements, but the entire site may not be in Flash. 2. the site must be designed in one of the approved styles from the Fresher Styles book (chpt. 7-9 [styles 6-8] plus the bonus style from the website for the book), in other words: Corkboard Sprawl, Fullscreen Fashion, Hand-Drawn Analog, Dusty Cowboy) OR one of the approved styles from the Fresh Styles book (all styles other than HTMinimaLism, Mondrian Poster, and Grid-Based Icon). 3. Site must contain AT LEAST -- a. splash page b. home page c. at least three subsections, maybe four (depending on how you organize it) 6. each page must have a menu with links to other sections and a link back to the home page. 7. each page must have some sort of "locator" device letting the visitor know where they are within the site. Grading criteria: 1. meets above requiremets 2. visual design (fonts, layout, colors, interest) 3. interaction design (menu, navigation, labels, signposts) Suggestions: 1. You can use the html text-editor function of dreamweaver. That's fine. 2. To control typography and layout, use CSS. 3. View Source at sites you like and see how they do it.
