Project: Site Redesign
Use HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash, and/or any other software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to redesign key areas of the UNCA web site. You will redesign the front page, one second level page, and one third level page. The current site is at http://www.unca.edu/. You will put your redesigned pages in a folder labeled "unca" and upload it to the "sites" directory of your student web site. You will turn in: 1. a creative brief 2. a wireframe 3. three mockups 4. user testing documentation 5. a final working (semi-)site Grading criteria: 1. thoroughness of research (pre-design, post-design, appropriateness of final design to user requirements) 2. interaction design (architecture, menu, navigation, labels, signposts) 3. visual design (fonts, layout, colors, professional use of technology) |
