Portfolio Component Outline

[Weeks 9-10]
1. Pre-Design
* compile work
* research (strengths/goals/target demographic)
* analysis (problem crux/media limitations/other successful design approaches)
* general written approach of strategy/tactics and possible pitfalls (a designer-generated creative brief) and wireframe of site architecture

[Weeks 11-12]
2. Design
* theme, explore, thumbnail sketches
* concept, typography, imagery, composition, content development
* logo design, business card layout
* loose mockups in digital media
* three polished mockups in digital media, written justification

[Weeks 13-14]
3. Develop
* prototype 1 section at full depth
* prototype entire site at surface depth
* increase entire site depth
* beta release of actual site

[Weeks 15-16]
4. Implement
* revise beta release based on feedback
* public release of implemented site online
* presentation of site and business cards to peers and faculty
